Educational Outreach Program

One of the Disabled American Veterans missions is to help students become engaged and thoughtful citizens by expanding their knowledge base, developing vital critical thinking and decision-making skills and enhancing their understanding of America’s most cherished value. Through classroom visits by veterans providing a focus on events “as seen through the eyes of veterans;” we hope to enlighten and inspire the youth and citizens of the United States by providing historically accurate and relevant information.

Liberty and freedom are NOT free. We want our youth to understand that Honor –Liberty – Freedom are the basis for the United States values yesterday, today, and especially tomorrow!
